  13. This file provides information for Shareware Distributors and Disk
  14. Vendors who wish to distribute the FM Toolbar software.

  16. The following paragraph is an extract from the license agreement
  17. regarding the distribution of FM Toolbar:
  18.

  20. MAKING AND DISTRIBUTING UNREGISTERED COPIES OF THE PROGRAM. You
  21. may make as many copies of the Program as you wish, give them to
  22. others, upload them to any BBS or FTP site worldwide, include them
  23. in software collections such as CD-ROM disks, distribute them
  24. through Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution, and
  25. distribute them in any other possible way, as long as you:
  26.  
  27. o  do not share your Registration Number with anyone else and do
  28.    not make copies of any printed materials from your Registration
  29.    Package, if the copy you use is a Registered Copy;
  30.  
  31. o  include all of the unmodified files, as listed in the
  32.    PACKING.LST file included with your copy. If any of the files
  33.    or the PACKING.LST file itself is missing, you should contact
  34.    us, or the dealer you obtained the Program from, to receive the
  35.    complete set of files. You may not distribute any file from the
  36.    installation set separately from all the other files;
  37.  
  38. o  agree not to sell the Unregistered Copies of the Program or
  39.    distribute them to others for any kind of compensation or fee
  40.    (small shipping and handling fees are OK), unless you have
  41.    received written permission from us; and your permission to
  42.    distribute the Program has not been revoked by us;
  43.  
  44. o  agree to inform the user(s) that the Unregistered Copy is to be
  45.    used for a time limited evaluation period, and that it must be
  46.    registered to continue to use the Program once the evaluation
  47.    period has ended;

  49. o  do not bundle the Program with any other software without our
  50.    written permission.

  53. The FM Toolbar package CANNOT be sold as part of some other
  54. inclusive package. Nor can it be included in any commercial
  55. software packaging offer, without a written agreement from
  56. ChaoSoft.

  58. You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogs,
  59. or other literature which describes our products as "FREE
  60. SOFTWARE". Shareware is "Try-Before-You-Buy" software, it is not
  61. free.

  63. ChaoSoft prohibits the distribution of outdated versions of the FM
  64. Toolbar package, without written permission from ChaoSoft.  If the
  65. version you have is over three (3) months old, please contact us
  66. to ensure that you have the most current version. This version was
  67. released in June 1994.
